A glass door is heavier than a solid one, and on a 24″ cabinet that extra weight works on the hinges for years. On older 3024RGL units the alignment complaint often arrives before any cooling complaint does — the door has settled a few millimetres, the top corner no longer compresses the gasket, and only later does anyone notice the cabinet is running a degree or two warm. Correcting the hinge usually fixes both signs at once.
