U-Chill is a different kind of appliance than the rest of the U-Line lineup — a built-in bottle chiller that uses electricity to create a cold-air jacket around the bottle instead of relying on an ice bucket. When it stops keeping bottles cold, the troubleshooting steps are correspondingly different.
Confirm It’s Actually Powered and Activated
U-Chill is controlled through a smart-touch crown, and it’s easy to assume a unit is running when it’s actually sitting idle — check that it’s been activated for the current bottle before assuming a fault.
Boost Mode and Red Wine Mode (Plus Models)
U-Chill Plus units add a red wine mode and a 30-minute boost mode — using the wrong mode for what’s loaded can look like a cooling failure when it’s actually a settings mismatch.
When It’s a Real Fault
