Craft clear ice is a different product from ordinary clear ice: large, dense cubes frozen slowly enough to be genuinely transparent through their center, intended for whiskey and cocktails where the ice is part of the presentation. The RCC115 makes about 120 of them a day, and because the whole point is optical clarity, this machine is less tolerant of water quality than any other ice maker U-Line builds. A cloudy core is a water problem, not a mechanical one.
