Fitting two independent temperature zones into an 18″ cabinet is a tight engineering problem, and the divider that makes it possible is proportionally more important here than in a wider cabinet. On a 2218ZWC that is ten years or more old, zone blending is the problem we expect to find, and the shorter divider in a narrow cabinet means a single hardened section is enough to defeat it.
Key Features
- 18" dual-zone Wine Captain
- Independent upper and lower temperature zones

Most Common Issues on This Model
Divider seal hardening and letting the zones blend
One zone's damper sticking
Sensor drift confined to a single zone
