U-Line Beverage Center Door Seal Care: What Extends Its Life

Door seal wear is the most common wear-and-tear issue on a frequently-used U-Line beverage center — a little care goes a long way.

A beverage center that gets opened dozens of times during a gathering puts real wear on its door gasket over time, and a little routine care meaningfully extends how long that seal lasts before it needs replacing.

Keep It Clean

Wipe the gasket periodically with mild soap and water — sticky residue from spilled drinks can cause the seal to lose its grip on the cabinet frame well before the rubber itself actually wears out.

Check for a Full Seal Regularly

Close the door on a piece of paper at a few points around the frame — if it slides out easily, the seal isn’t gripping fully at that spot, which is worth having checked before it turns into a temperature problem.
