CLR is U-Line’s clear-ice designation, and the 3018CLR is the ice module of the Modular 3000 Series — the one installed shoulder to shoulder with a refrigerator or wine module in a continuous run. Installing an ice machine in a cabinetry run has one implication owners often miss: the drain line has to leave the run somewhere, and a drain routed through joinery is far harder to inspect than one behind a freestanding machine. It is the first place we look when a clear-ice machine backs up.
