The 24″ Wine Captain was the volume model of the Echelon wine range and is the one we see most often from that era. A single-zone cabinet of this height develops a natural gradient as it ages and the fan weakens, and an owner storing reds at the top and whites at the bottom sometimes finds the drift convenient enough to leave alone. It is still a problem, and it is usually a fan or a circulation path rather than anything serious.
