Common Causes of Bin Full Indicator
- Bin genuinely full (normal)
- Ice clumped near the bin-full sensor, creating a false reading
- A stuck or failed bin-full sensor/switch

If the bin looks empty but the indicator stays lit, check that the bin-full sensor isn't obstructed by ice clumping near the sensor itself.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Forcing ice away from a sensor with a hard tool risks damaging the sensor housing or the evaporator surface nearby.
- A machine left running with a stuck-false bin-full signal can overflow, sending water and ice outside the unit.
